Monolights

Monolights can be used for almost anything. They’re great for photography or shooting films. Or, they’re good if you just need some extra light in the garage when you’re working on your car, but they might be a bit bright and expensive for a small project. If you purchase one, make sure you’ll have good use for it. Otherwise, it won’t be worth your money. These lights can compromise for the flash on a camera, but they are usually brighter than a camera’s flash. Some of them are small and compact, but others are large and bulky. The larger ones offer a considerable amount of light, whereas the smaller ones are not as bright. These lights are normally placed on tripods, and they’ll usually stand somewhere around your camera. If you need a lot of light, but you want to keep the light level even, it is recommended that you purchase two or three smaller monolights and place them on opposing sides of your camera. However, if you want a bright light and you want it to be constant and in one place, you’ll need one large one, or two depending on how much light you want. Bowens is a company that specializes in making lights for photography, more particularly monolights. They make several different types, such as the Espirit Gemini 500 and the QUADX 3000Ws Generator. Elinchrom Monolights

Elinchrom goes in together with Bowens on some camera lighting and business products. But Elinchrom does make its own line of products. The Elinchrom Digital Style 300RX/600RX offers a 2-monolight kit that comes with reflectors, light stands, cords, umbrellas, and cases. This light is adaptable to many different studio settings. Elinchrom also makes other products, such as the Style 400BX, Elinchrom D-Lite 4, D-Lite 2, Digital Style 600RX, and Style 1200RX. Each of these monolights is different, and used for different situations, but each of them will get the job done!
